I wanted to try to recreate an article to make it seem like something out of a magazine and see how it would turn out.
This an article piece called “Letters, Literacy, & Resistance: In a Midwestern Free African American Community by Dr. Jennifer Stinson”.
I thought it would be interesting to have it focus on the original colors from the original article but at the same have originality by placing certain themes like pencils fro the sake of literacy.
The goal was to focus on Graphic Design, Typography, and Layout. This was done in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
