While I was studying abroad in Japan I had stumbled across a chocolate bar called "Choco Brownie" and noticed the design of the packaging was a little to busy for my taste. That's when I decided to try and remake the packaging from an American's perspective while also respecting the layout of the text in the original packaging.
What I made was something that could be for both an American and Japanese treat. To also emphasize the idea of a Japanese chocolate bar, I created a character that seems to help fit the aesthetic of the product.
The goal was to focus more on Advertising, Typography and Layout Design. It was a really fun side project to do in Adobe Illustrator.
